Beekeeping isolators
We produce two types of metal isolators: for controlling the queen brooding and for queen introduction.
ISOLATORS FOR QUEEN BROODING CONTROL
Isolators are used for separating the queen-bee and contol queen brooding. The isolator is made from queen-excluder (of 4,3mm wire spacing). The distance between excluder’s wires allows worker bees to pass through but not the larger queens and drones. Queen-bee is restricted inside the isolator. Isolator is made entirely of metal.
We have developed our own isolator design, which is highly appreciated by customers. It is made from a single excluder, U-shaped, connected to metal sides by rivets. It is a stable, rigid and very durable construction.
Wire diameter 1,8mm, column width 8,5mm, thickness of excluder 3,2mm, distance between wires in the excluder is 4,3mm
We offer additional equipment: matching cover lid made of galvanized steel.
Isolators available for all types of hives, for one to five frames.

QUEEN-INTRODUCTION ISOLATORS
Our newest isolator for queen introduction is made from metal excluder (wire spacing 3,2mm). The distance between wires prevents any bees to pass through, queen-bee is completely isolated.
This isolator is made from a single excluder, U-shaped, connected to metal sides by rivets. It is a stable, rigid and very durable construction.
Each isolator for queen introduction is equipped with a dedicated cover lid, made from galvanized steel.
We manufacture queen-introduction isolators for one or two frames.

Other categories
Small elements nailed to the frames, providing a required space between the frames in the hive.
The excluder is used to limit the queen’s access to honey supers. It is a selective barrier inside the beehive that allows worker bees but not the larger queens and drones to traverse the barrier.
Hive entrance reducers combine two functions: protect the hive from rodents and prevent loss of bees during transport while providing hive with ventilation.
Segments of excluder are used instead of spacer beams, to fill the distance between frames in isolator, and also as an extension of the queen excluder.
